Solidarity
Solidarity is like a constant river of knowledge,
people give it out like a determined stream of poetic rhapsody!
Solidarity flows through our veins and into our hearts and
reminds our comrades that they are significant,
Solidarity flows from one prison to another
and from my mind to all of yours,
It will always flow in and out of our lungs,
especially on a bright new year’s day!
Solidarity is in the minds of those who hold so dear
as to not allow themselves to disintegrate into the dust of nothingness
Some people do oppose spoken spoken so emphatically
like poetry and prose,
Solidarity to me is like a beautiful yellow rose that
blossoms and grows into something courageous and wise,
Solidarity don’t tell lies!
Mongoose’s solidarity flows like tap water,
and it’s love courses its way through cracks in the walls
and enters every prison in America,
Mongoose’s love and solidarity flows through the unrestrained brains
out in the community as well,
all the while enlightening souls,
Solidarity finds its way around all perimeters and parameters of
confining blindness to those who will never really know what solidarity is,
Solidarity is something beautiful,
as it prevails over all adversity!
