To Whom It May Concern,
Virginia Department of Corrections, the infamous Pocahontas State Corruption Center hidden deep in the mountains of Tazewell County, where racism and antisemitism are a ap art of the cultural heritage.
Multiple VaDOC staff, guards and others, are being dangerously loud and overt in threatening the very small population of Jewish captives. The danger to their wellbeing has never been greater, where state employees are able to openly terrorize with complete impunity and even with support from coworkers and VaDOC standards set by Richmond.
Do you remember Charlottesville, where Virginia’s racist, antisemitic and openly Nazi citizens came out by the thousands? They marched chanting “The Jews will not replace us”. Many of the guards at Pocahontas are those marchers and have bragged about it. Today, one of the most nefarious and well documented racist and antisemitic guards targeted (again) and openly terrorized (again) a Jewish man, on camera, and strictly because he was Jewish (again). This was approximately 6:45am at breakfast.
“Correctional Officer” Craig (known as “Tiny” Craig) saw this Jewish man, who he has a documented history of targeting for harassment, and made a direct bee line for him. He told this Jewish man to strip off his religious garb (on the Sabbath and amid the spreading global troubles). He made repeated comments so absolutely heinous that I will not write, but we were open unveiled references to recent horrors. He then dragged this frightened young man to solitary confinement.
This is dangerous, in a state whose history is long and violent towards all those who are not white and local.
